I am eating a bowl of soup. Because I’m sick. Nothing goes with sickness like writing and soup. So. Here I am. Sick with soup scribbling sensational summaries of spring for sagacious supporters.
Auspicious alliteration aside, activate article authoring.
First. Let’s write a list.
Stuff to write about in this update:
- Took on new responsibility as the team leader for the Communications Team.
- Odyssey not getting sick as much…but then our whole family getting sick.
- Preached for a camp of 50. Shared the gospel. About half unsaved. Amazing opportunity to share truth with teenagers.
- Four young people saved during one of our other retreats. Fun to see God using the tool of camp bring people to Him! Reminds me why I love working at camp.
- Ran a new team builder that dad and I designed. It includes fire…so you know it’s good.
- Added another fort (Yes. Another one. We are up to six!) to the growing “Fortillage”… “Villort” … “Forthood” … “Shire the Desert Edition”. (I’d love to hear any name ideas you have for our village of forts).
- Published another video to the Game Garage.
- Published another video to the Ironwood YouTube Channel. It’s short, but took me an egregiously long time to edit.
- Hung a swing on our back porch with Dad. (I was hoping to not include “with Dad.” But, alas, it was more important to have a safe swing than to boost my ego.)
- Took lots of pictures with Ironwood’s fancy new lens. I love it. I mean just look at how crispy this picture is!

- Given two new couches and new lamps for our living room.

I really should write about these things, but I’ve run out of soup. So, I guess I’ll just have to leave you with a series of random pictures from the past two months.
