My last post was all the way back on December 18, 2025.
You know what’s the hardest part of these updates? Trying to decide what to tell you about.
I could tell you about my family visiting for Christmas

I could tell you about the new Sequoia Meadow Logo which is inspired by Psalm 23:2-5, Psalm 63:1, and Psalm 73:26.

I could tell you about the new Barn remodel.

Or the drift trikes inside the barn remodel.
I could tell you about the three houses being built.

I could tell you about the first ever Church Tech Retreat (which went splendidly…thanks for asking).

I could tell you about preaching for Airsoft.

I could tell you about almost throwing up in the tumbleweed.
I could tell you about the camp conference in Michigan (the video below was made by Tyler at said camp conference…I’m only bitter that he got more views then I did in the previous video).
I could tell you about this awesome pick up sticks and blocks creation by Atticus.

But, instead, I want to tell you about the +30 retreats we have hosted here at Ironwood. I want to tell you about the +60 messages from God’s Word preached here on property. I want to tell you about the 1 young man who believed in Christ at a Men’s Retreat a few weeks ago.
I want to tell you the countless stories of God working in hearts and churches throughout the past few months.
Yes. A lot of work has been done. A lot of fun has been had. A lot of things have happened. But they all pale in comparison to how God changed lives and built His church this past few months. To God be the Glory!
If you have made it this far, I hope your heart has been encouraged. Thank you for reading!
Now, could I bother you with one more thing?
I can? Wow…Thank you!
So, if you didn’t know, Ironwood is a home missions ministry. This means that all of the resident staff at Ironwood are financially supported by churches and individuals. This allows Ironwood to keep costs low for churches and ensures all of Ironwood’s staff are missions focused and church centered.
Over the past 6 years, Ember and I have been visiting churches and reaching out to individuals asking if they would be willing to support us monthly.
We need to raise $2,550 a month. So far, we have raised about $1,400 a month.
As for the $1,150 that we still need to raise, I have two requests:
- If you know of any churches who you think might be interested in supporting our ministry, would you be willing to put me in contact with them?
- Would you consider supporting my family monthly?
Since living at Ironwood comes with so few expenses, even $25 a month goes a long way.
For those who have supported us over the pat 6 years, THANK YOU!
Your financial sacrifice has enabled us to spread the gospel, strengthen families, and serve local churches. Thank you! (also, check out 2 Cor. 9:8-11…I think you’ll find those verses to be encouraging).
