Summer is over! I’ve got all sorts of cool things to show you. Buckle up! Grab a snack! Prepare your thumb (in the case of desktop users…prepare your index finger)! Commence scrolling!
First and most important, I want to share with you what God did this summer. If I am honest, this was a very difficult summer for our family. Ember’s new job, having a new baby who keeps getting sick, and learning how to parent a two-year old made for a hard summer.
So how can I say it was a simply superlative, sublimely stellar, splendidly sensational Summer???
Look no further than the lives changed by the work God did through Ironwood! One-hundred young people accepted Christ as their Savior! Thirty young people surrendered to do God’s will! A total of 576 decisions were made over the course of the summer! God did amazing things this summer! He changed lives and we got to be a part of it.
Nothing quite compares to watching God change the heart of a junior camper. Seeing a ten year old believe in Christ or an eleven year old decide to spend the rest of their lives serving God is simply amazing! It never gets old to walk around the Broken I Ranch and see multiple counselors talking to kids about God. Nothing better! So. Yeah. It was simply superlative, sublimely stellar, and splendidly sensational!

While I was running around camp pretending to be Inspector Samson Widget (premier Pinkerton detective who helped solve the great Gem Heist of 2023), Ember has been busy learning QuickBooks and using the dark corners of Excel I had no idea existed. She’s loving it!
Since the end of summer, I’ve been busy working on this video for Ironwood. (You already clicked a link to get here…why not click another one?)
Also, I’m apart of two more fun projects that are in the works, but I can only give you a sneak peak. One of them you will hear more about in future updates and the other you will just have to come to camp to discover more about.

As for Odyssey and Atticus, they are doing well. Odyssey is an expert crawler and Atticus is 86% potty trained (that’s a ballpark estimate based on thorough research). They have been learning how to play together. Odyssey loves playing with (terrorizing?) Atticus. He is still trying to figure out how to play with someone whose primary skillset is destruction. It’s a joy to watch!

As we go into Fall, could you be praying that we would be able to visit at least two churches to present our ministry. We have raised about 60% of our support and are in need of a few more supporters. Also, if you know of any churches (maybe even your own church) who might consider supporting our ministry just email me at bodiebrock@ironwood.org.
Thanks for reading this. I know it was a sacrifice of your free time (unless your reading this during work hours…in which case…get back to work!)
Oh! Before you leave (yes, even you whose putting off work) here’s two more Game Garage videos. These ones are worth watching even if you don’t care about board games. Why? Oh you’ll just have to see for yourself.
